Bolivian President Evo Morales will meet with the mayors of Santa Cruz and Beni Wednesday to analyze possible plans for the recovery of those departments, the most affected by La Nina climatologic phenomenon.
The meeting, postponed since Monday due to the packed agenda of the participants, aims to reach consensual criteria to face reconstruction in the pounded zones.
Morales called to overcome political differences, and focus attention on the thousands of flood victims and rebuilding programs.
According to the president, damages linked to natural disasters have increased in the last three years, with higher impact on the north-eastern region of the Andean nation.
The situation remains delicate in Bolivia, where another 40 municipalities were declared disaster zones yesterday, with almost 90,000 families affected and 57 people reported dead.
