Mexican oil production drops
Mexican oil production fell in Jan-Feb this year, reaching 2.99 barrels a day, or 6.4 percent below the same period last year, according to state-run oil company PEMEX (Petroleos Mexicanos).
The fall was mainly a consequence of several operational factors and of a natural reduction expected in the Cantarell field. With an average adjusted price of $79.38 a barrel, the country got $6.87 billion for the Mexican crude in the said two-month period
