Bolivia to denounce USA interference

The Bolivian government announced on Monday the beginning of an international campaign to denounce the interference in its domestic affairs by the US Embassy.
Presidential Minister Juan Ramon Quintana will meet with US congress people to present documented evidence of the conspiracy led by Ambassador Philip Goldberg, through the USAID (the United States Agency for International Development).
"We decided to internationally denounce the US Embassy interference through USAID, in blatant violation of the Vienna Convention," said Quintana.
He added that a re-launching of diplomatic relations with the United States will depend on an extensive dialogue between both governments, based on mutual respect.
Yesterday President Evo Morales accused US Ambassador Goldberg of leading an internal and external conspiracy against the process of social changes promoted by the Bolivian government.
Earlier this month Goldberg was summoned by the Foreign Ministry because of his funding of irregular intelligence groups and spying activities incited by his security aide Vincent Cooper.
