Cuba, Mexico share university life


Cuba and Mexico will exchange experience in university education during the eleventh meeting of university rectors from both nations to be held today.


According to the meeting program the participants will deal with subjects related to research and academic development, institutional connections and exchange of professors and students.
During the inauguration of the event there will be speeches by Juan Vela Valdez, Cuban minister of higher education and the Mexican vice secretary of Education, Rodolfo Tuiran Gutierrez.


The participants will also attend a masterly conference by doctor Eugenio Cetina Vadillo from Mexico on "university education in Mexico in the framework of bilateral cooperation."


Part of the day s agenda includes two round tables on scientific innovation and technological development as well as postgraduate studies and training of high-level human resources.


In 2006, Mexico hosted the tenth meeting of university rectors of both nations.
