Bolivians demand Cuban five release

The Parents Committee, which is in charge of Bolivian students in Cuba, ratified that solidarity priorities with the island state include the release of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in the United States.

According to the main leader of that group, Humberto Arandia, it is essential that people know about the arbitrary case and the violations committed by Washington against Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino and Rene Gonzalez, for defending their people.

Arandia, who has two children studying at the Medical School in the Cuban eastern province of Holguin, added that it is important that the denunciation spreads worldwide.

In that sense, he predicted the creation of solidarity committees in the Bolivian municipalities of Yapacani, Cuatro Cañadas and San Julian this year. The leader also said that Santa Cruz citizens will continue its protests in front of the US embassy to demand justice in the case of the Cuban antiterrorist fighters.
