Drug traffickers kill 378 Mexicans in March


Some 378 Mexicans have been killed by drug traffickers in March, the highest such numbers for the past six years in Mexico.An official press release rates daily executions in 11 besides the discovery in Chihuahua of 33 bodies in clandestine graves inside a house.

The most affected states were Chihuahua, specially Ciudad Juarez with 137 dead, plus Sinaloa, Baja California, Guerrero, Sonora, Michoacan, Tamaulipas, Durango and Nuevo Leon.

Just in March, Army operations in Ciudad Juarez resulted in 62 detentions and the confiscation of 79 weapons, 741 bullets and 5.08 tons of marihuana.Arrests in the rest of the country summed 116, and seized 413 weapons, 64,624 bullets, 5.08 tons of marihuana and $11.9 million.
